The Terrapins entered last weekend trying to get their first ACC win on the season against the #19/#16 Florida State Seminoles. The Terrapins finally got their first ACC win, but it took until Sunday to finally get it.
On Saturday, the Terrapins hosted a doubleheader, and lost both games, 2-0 in the first game, and 3-2 in eight innings in the second game.
On Sunday, the Terrapins finally got their first ACC win of the season, upsetting the Seminoles, 6-2. Hickey and Knight combined for a strong 7 innings, striking out four, and allowing only four hits in the game in their combined effort.

The next match-up for Maryland Softball will take place this Wednesday, as they take on George Washington in a double-header, starting at 5PM at Robert E. Taylor Stadium on the University of Maryland campus.
